A JOURNAL IN PROGRESS

Breaking Boundaries

A Journal for Self-Discovery and Authentic Living

A place to quiet the mind and hear what the heart has been trying to say.

AN EXCERPT FROM CHAPTER 3

Soften, Don't Shrink

Learning emotional honesty also means learning how to soften. Softening doesn't mean collapsing or making yourself smaller. It means learning to hold your truth without sharp edges.

When you meet your feelings with curiosity instead of judgment, something inside loosens. The grip relaxes. Old patterns don't run the show anymore.

Your body might still react like you're unsafe, even when you're safe. This happens because your nervous system holds memory from the past. It may still brace, tighten, protect, because it remembers something, even if it's not happening now.

So you ask yourself:

Is this now, or is this then?

The rest is waiting for you
